Classic Books Inspire Creative Learning

Share |

It's National Library Week right now (April 10th-16th) so make sure you celebrate with your children by visiting your local library. Libraries across the country are planning special events for Saturday, many geared for young kids. The Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. is dedicated to providing a selection of classic kids books. Here are a few of my favorites:

Inspire Memorable Story Time! Girls everywhere just love Opal, who learns the importance of being true to yourself in this classic book by Holly Hobbie. Toot & Puddle, The One and Only is a great way to get girls excited to read, with its beautiful illustrations and heart warming story. Makes a great gift for girls. Combine with Opal plush toy for a truly special present.

Ok, Spike Jonze's movie may be a cinematic force of genius, yet nothing will ever replace Maurice Sendak's perfect childhood story. We all grew up with the Where the Wild Things Are Book and better yet have all experienced a Max moment (or two!). Where the Wild Things Are Book is a family favorite and welcome addition to any new library. Enjoy the 25th Anniversary Special Hardcover Edition.

Share the magic of the nursery with your children with this lovely reissue of the classic tale of the Velveteen Rabbit.Margery Williams first penned the classic tale of a little Velveteen Rabbit who becomes real in through love in 1922 and ever since then it has been captivating children's imaginations.
