Spring is around the corner (yes!) so we've been adding a lot of new fabrics over at the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. in anticipation of warmer weather and days spent in the garden. Here are my three favorites:
This vintage cream poppy floral fabric will add a calm touch of class any room in the house. I love the vintage look of this floral pattern, which is a perfect for home sewing projects from homemade quilts to vintage curtains to old-fashioned pillows. Pink poppy flowers rest on a cream background in this classic print reminds me of Grandma's house!
In the past, the bags that livestock feed and seeds was shipped in were made of beautiful floral textiles. Farmers traditionally used these feed bags as fabric after they were done with them, turning them into quilts and aprons. Continue this tradition with red patchwork feedsack fabric. A mix of red, yellow and blue flowers with patchwork fillings make up this quilting cotton fabric.
If your looking for a floral fabric that's not too busy and easy to use as a coordinate, this blue sunflower lattice fabric just might do the trick. Cute white sunflowers rest on a blue plaid lattice in this quilting cotton fabric.
