Happy Monday! This weekend for me was a winter wonderland, and while I love a good snow, I think I'm ready Spring. Which is why looking over some photos my employee in New Orleans sent me of the Saints celebration down there last night got me feeling jealous.
Notice those bare hands? At night? Totally impossible up here in New York.
Anyway, congratulations to Scat413 for winning the Monday Giveaway. Hope you and your child enjoy the fish memory board.
This week we will be giving away something for your little girl to keep her jewelry and treasures in! This lavender jewelry box is truely special! What a lovely jewelry box! My paternal grandpa was the first policeman in the town where I grew
up. He passed away when I was 3.
When I was around eight years old,
my dad gave me grandpa's police
whistle. That was the most important treasure in my jewelry box. I found your wonderful shop/site quite some time ago via a Google search and very glad I did.....Your Ribbon Watch is too cute and I love the way the colors can be changed! Many thanks, Cindi

I had a spider brooch as a child. The body was blue & the legs & antennae gold. It was the most beautiful piece of jewelery. I lost it one day - no idea where. I was devastated.

My granny Zelda had no money, she was supported by my parents and lived across the globe in south africa so I didnt see her often. One day, around my 7th birthday she sent me a package, I don't recall ever receiving a gift from her other than this, but it was a beautiful gold necklace with a chai (hebrew for life). It was my first piece of real jewelry and I treasured it and never took it off. As a teenager I was into trendy jewelry and couldn't recall what I had done with it but after my wedding my mom said she had kept it for me and gave it to me. I wore it for a few years after my marriage and now I have put it away and I am saving it for my daughter Zelda's (named in memory of my grandmother) 7th birthday. This jewelry box would be a perfect addition to hold it.

An apple on a gold chain was the first piece of jewelery I remember. I still have it and I let my oldest daughter wear it to church. I use to put it in a square pink jewelry box when you opened the lid the ballerina would dance to a tune.
I found this site by looking up information on craft blogs.
I would love to give this jewelry box to my daughter if I win. I remember my first jewelry box that my mom gave me for my birthday. It came with a blue bracelet inside.
