Happy Corduroy Day!

Leave it to New York to have a Corduroy Appreciation Club. You can listen to a radio piece on the holiday here, but basically the ground celebrates both 1/11 and 11/11, the two dates that most resemble wale corduroy. They invite special speakers, and of course encourage all attendees to wear corduroy.

I've always loved corduroy myself. I have a pair of corduroy pants that have, I must admit, seen better days, but I just can't bear to toss them. And I adore a nice large corduroy pillow. That's why I make sure we always keep a nice selection of corduroy fabric over at the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. Especially around this time of year.

Thanksgiving Decorations

Well now that we go through Halloween, it is time to start thinking about the next big holiday. I always have held a special place in my heart for Thanksgiving.
