Monday Giveaway

Share |

Hope you all had a good weekend! Last night in New York we had a spectacular lightning storm that I watched roll up from our rooftop. I just love weather like that--makes me feel like a little kid again.

Congratulations to TZel for winning the big kids panda backpack! Hope you enjoy!

This week we are going continue with the back to school theme by giving away one of our kids composition notebooks. These front cover illustrations are based on the fantastical dreamworld of the cherished turn-of-the-century comic book character "Little Nemo in Slumberland." Each 150 page composition book is bound with a cloth fabric spine as well as having a foil stamped cover. On the inside your child will find helpful extras including a class schedule page, multiplication tables, a metric conversion chart, a poem, and other information for growing imaginations.

Here is how to win:

1. Leave a comment about the favorite story or poem your child has written.
2. Mention how you found this site
3. Check out the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. to see what kids back to school supplies they carry.
4. Make sure I can contact you! Either leave an email address in your comment, or make sure that you have contact information on your blog profile.

You can receive an extra entry towards this giveaway if you link to this give-away in your blog and put that link in your comment. Or Twitter this giveaway and follow me on Twitter.

The give-away is open for entries until Sunday, August 16th, at 11:59 PM. Winners will be chosen at random, and announced Monday afternoon. Good luck!

Note: At this time, the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. cannot ship give-away items internationally. They apologize for the inconvenience to all of you great people living outside of the U.S.

Happy Monday! One of our sons wrote a story about how special his granpa is to him! It can bring tears to my eyes just telling about it.
I think I originally found you with a lucky Google search!
Many thanks, Cindi

Holy moly, I love these so much. Even if I don't win one, I do believe they are going on my wishlist. These composition books are absolutely gorgeous. My ten year old is incredibly creative. A favorite story she has written? How about an entire plant? She has actually created this entire world she calls Imzula down to the last amazing detail. It has a government, history and unique ecology. She constantly amazes me with her imagination. (I am not sure where I found your site. I've been reading your blog and loving your store a very long time.) smalltownbeatnik at gmail

My daughter was the tiger and she wrote that she as the tiger and the other animals were trying to save the forest because they were chopping down the trees.
