Hope you all had a good weekend! My neighbors got kittens this weekend, and they are just adorable. Plus we decided to take advantage of the good weather and have some friends over for a potluck--my husband made his famous barbecue chicken, and it was great as usual. All in all, a good weekend.

School sure brings back memories!
I never carried a backpack as a
young girl. I only lived a few blocks from the school and went home for lunchtime! Your school supplies are wonderful. Everything coordinates
with the cutest patterns! I adore the pencil cases, lap desk, binders and composition notebooks.

Oh I loved all my backpacks as a kid. I still love backpacks and I'm (dare I say it) 37! My current favorite is a beat up black and white one from my grad school days and has pins stuck on the front pocket from places I've visited since grad school.

I had a great math teacher in 7th grade who made me love the subject. I ended up majoring in math in college!

In 4th grade I had an amazing teacher. She really cared about each child and made school fun. We had crickets in our classroom and she taught us all about them, she read to us which most teachers wont do in 4th grade and she let us be included in decision making including subjects to study and trips. I learned a lot that year and she truly made learning fun.
In 5th grade my parents gave me my dream backpack- it was painted by an artist with my name and pictures of cats. I used to admire it for hours and was so proud to carry it to school every day.
I found this site when I received the paper doll towels for my daughter (love them and enjoy them every day!)
I had no idea that warm biscuit carried the Dante Beatrix backpacks- I really like the big kid monkey, it's my favorite color and my favorite animal and my soon to be first grader would love it too! I also like the personalized lunchboxes, fun composition notebooks and the school years record book like I had as a kid.
I had a purple jansen (sp?) that I had that I just adored. of course I only wore it on one side and that was a huge mistake!!!

I had a cool backpack as a kid when I first watch sesame street, the cookie monster. I kept it years later in my closet even after I grew out of it.

My favorite teacher was probably Mr. Hunt. I had him for several classes in high school and he would have done anything for any one of his students.
