Happy Monday! I remember my first day of kindergarten. Mrs. Taake was my teacher who was nice, but kind of strict. I kept talking and ended up in the sorry chair on the first day of my school career! Thanks, Cindi

A first day of school memory? Well, I know when I first started sixth grade I was really really nervous and my mom helped me down to my locker, but then she had to leave and it was awful. I really didn't want to be there...I was always getting nervous when I started a new year, no matter what.

1. What I always remember being a great thing about back to school was the shoes. Getting to finally wear the new shoes that had been picked out and bought during the summer but had to sit and wait until school started!

I remember being excited about my new clothes and lunch box. My mom would take a picture of us in front of the school and off we'd go looking for friends and a great desk to sit at.
I remember the first day of kindergarten. My mom put my hair in sponge curlers, I wore a red skirt and white skirt. I was so nervous but the teacher took my hand and I felt better.
