Monday Giveaway

Share |

Sorry for the delay on this, but yesterday was extremely hectic. My dad is visiting me from Texas, and he's had some health problems since he arrived. Nothing too serious, but between that and work and taking care of three kids...you get the idea.

Congratulations to Katrina for winning the kids school picture frame. Expect an email soon!

This week for the giveaway we will feature our girls horse diary. Let your little girl's imagination gallop away as she jots down her dreams in this gracefully illustrated horse lovers journal and diary. Each hardcover lock and key horse diary has 240 colored lined pages and comes with a padlock with two keys. 5 1/2in x 6in. A great way to encourage future novelists!

Here's how to win:

1. Leave a comment about whether you kept a journal, and if anyone ever pried and read it or if you ever read someone else's journal.
2. Mention how you found this site
3. Check out the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. to see what other kids books and journals they carry.
4. Make sure I can contact you! Either leave an email address in your comment, or make sure that you have contact information on your blog profile.

You can receive an extra entry towards this giveaway if you link to this give-away in your blog and put that link in your comment. Or Twitter this giveaway and follow me on Twitter.

The give-away is open for entries until Sunday, July 19th, at 11:59 PM. Winners will be chosen at random, and announced Monday afternoon. Good luck!

Note: At this time, the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. cannot ship give-away items internationally. They apologize for the inconvenience to all of you great people living outside of the U.S.

1. I kept a variety of journals while I was growing up and, as far as I've ever known, no one else ever read them. However, I have an older brother, so I wonder if I asked him, whether I would find out differently...
2. I just like reading your blog!
3. I like the Flower & Bird Diary, there is something so sweet about it. I know my daughter would love any of them, though!

Found this giveaway on Google while looking for a gift for a niece who loves horses. I used to keep a journal in my teen years, until my mom read it (!). :) macd82 at gmail dot com

I did keep a journal when I was younger. I especially enjoyed writing so my journal became filled with alot of poems and neat quotes that I liked. It was black velvet with a silver unicorn on the front. I probably still have it stored away in one of my boxes at home. As for snooping in anyone else's journal? Nope, never have. i always kept a journal when i was younger... in fact, i still do! :)

my mom def read it from time to time, and once i became a teenager, i learned the hard way that i needed to keep it under a tighter lock when she snooped on what my boyfriend and i had been up to.

i want to encourage my daughter to journal. it's a great release. she's only 5 now, but it's never too young to start!

i found this site through a mom's giveaway posting on another blog.

have a great weekend!

I keep a journal but only write when there's something worth noting down. I've read some excerpts to my mom.
