I hope all of you had a great weekend! It was full of rain in New York, but there were moments of sunshine that let us squeeze in some family fun and Father's Day celebrations. My dad is visiting right now, so that was a special treat. Plus my oldest son graduated from elementary school! It was such a sweet and nice event, and it was great to have my dad there in support. All the kids had a lot of fun, and they had a little dance for them on the blacktop at the playground.
Congratulations to Naddez for winning a floral lampshade. Expect an email soon!

I loved playing school as a kid, where I'd arrange things in our basement playroom as a classroom and play with the worksheets I'd bring home from school at the end of the summer. My brothers, cousins and I also played a game we made up, called "Plow" where we'd break into 2 teams holding hands in a line and try to "plow" the other team over. Surprisingly, no one ever got seriously hurt.
I have your link on my blog, that's how I found you!
I love Warm Biscuit's old fashioned spinning tops. So charming!
I liked to pretend I was a dog named Barney. :)
I also liked to pretend I was homeless with my best friend Brandi. I guess we were a little odd.
I found your blog through Warm Biscuit giveaways last fall.
I love the Warm Biscuit toys! My sons would love the sword and shield set! I would have to get 2 sets of course.

As kids, my cousin Jessica and i used to pretend we were twin double-agent Russian spies named Natasha and Sasha. What can I say? It was the 80s.

this is a very fun giveaway. I found your website about a year ago when I was trying to find vintage baby stuff for my sons nursery! He has a vintage cowboy theme that is to die for and I would love to purchase the tepee! That has to be one of the best toys ever! I would even crawl in there and play!
oh I forgot, my favorite game ever when I was little was probably playing kitchen. My mom would let us make jello and then we would eat on our pretend dishes and wash the dishes in the sink. It was so fun and we had simple fun for hours!
I loved playing house as a child. I would cook really nice mud pie dinners for my doll family.
I found you through Mom Giveaways.
I was so excited to see the Poky Little puppy toy my all time favorite book. Thank you!

My favorite game is to pretend I was the maid to a princess (my playmate) so that I could dress her up. It was funny that I never thought of being the princess myself.
