These dolls remind me of my grandma, who was from Poland. What a cute idea for a sewing kit!

Since I'm on the topic of my grandma, I really love the embroidered pillows and hankies she used to make. She's no longer with us, but it's nice that her thing are to evoke memories.

And Warm Biscuit's mom aprons are so sweet! I love the one with cherries.

I love handmade items but my favorite has to be my mom's apple pie - it may not be an heirloom per se, but the smell of a pie baking always brings fond memories! Looking around the site I love the bright and cheerful fabrics!

1. I am fortunate in that my mother is really crafty and a wonderful seamstress. Both of my daughters' rooms were decorated in items that she handcrafted, including curtains, valances, crib/bed skirts, pillows and cushions, etc. It all may be homemade but it's gorgeous!
2. I found this site through Prizey a while ago.
3. I really like the Mom Silver Charm Bracelet. It's so classic and beautiful.
