First of all- Happy Mothers Day to all of you! I enjoyed a breakfast in bed served by my three darling boys, and a surprise bouquet of flowers from my husband. Then we had a family picnic in the park -- all I could ever ask for!
I want to apologize for letting this blog slip these last few weeks - one of my key employees went on vacation, so we were all a little stretched thin at the office. But now she's back (with plenty of great stories to tell) and so now I have more time to devote to this blog.
So, at long last, the winner of the personalized gold charm bracelet with one charm is Lisa! Expect an email soon-- I hope your little girl enjoys this!
This week is National Childrens Book Week, so in honor of this we will be giving away one Classic Golden Book set. I just loved these books as a kid, and have enjoyed passing them on to my kids as an adult. The illustrations are gorgeous -- there is just something timeless about them. Includes six of their most popular stories: The Poky Little Puppy; Tootle, The Saggy Baggy Elephant, Tawny Scrawny Lion, Scuffy the Tugboat, and The Shy Little Kitten. Plus, a bonus blank Little Golden Book with the official gold foil spine lets your child create their very own classic.
Here's how to win a Golden Years Book Set:
1. Leave a comment about your favorite Golden Book or just your favorite kids book.
2. Mention how you found this site
3. Check out the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. to see what other kids books they carry.
4. Make sure I can contact you! Either leave an email address in your comment, or make sure that you have contact information on your blog profile.
You can receive an extra entry towards this giveaway if you link to this give-away in your blog and put that link in your comment. Or Twitter this giveaway and follow me on Twitter.
The give-away is open for entries until Sunday, April 19th, at 11:59 PM. Winners will be chosen at random, and announced Monday afternoon. Good luck!
Note: At this time, the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. cannot ship give-away items internationally. They apologize for the inconvenience to all of you great people living outside of the U.S.

My favorite childrens book is Winnie the pooh. I loved him as a child with his yellowish skin and big belly and happy golly attitude reminded me of my father. Love you dad.

My favorite Golden Book as a child was "Where Did the Baby Go?" I found your blogger site through an email from the Warm Biscuit Co. I hope the date of 4/19 is incorrect because I know a sweet baby who will love reading about The Poky Little Puppy!!

My favorite all time story as a child was "The Saggy Baggy Elephant". I would get so excited for my parents to read it! I still have the orginal print of it. It's locked away so grimy dirty fingers won't destroy it (4 girls all under the age of 6!). I also LOVE "The Monster at the End of the Book". My sister has it and said that she would rather die than give it to me... Anyways, my girls love the books and so do I!
I found the Warm Bisquit website while I was searching for fabric (I love your site, super cute!) I signed up for e-mails.
Thanks!!
