my favorite trick to soothe little ones is to rock them gently until they fall asleep. Not always an easy task, but it works. I found you through google, but have visited this site before as well. I love the cute little toys they have at Warm Biscuit and think the little pony hand held toy is so cute! Also the bedding is gorgeous, my new grandbaby would love the cowboy or firetruck bedding!

My baby always calms when I bounce her. I think I found your site from Google. I love their horse stuffed animal

There aren't many good trick in calming a baby although I usually find a big huge and some snuggling does the trick. I'm a big fan of pacis (and finally got my husband to believe in them after reading an article that they help prevent SIDS) and those work too. My friend taught me this outwards baby hold where your baby rests with his head in the crook of your elbow and their belly resting on your hand and it works for my newborns
I found your site when I got Warm Biscuit towels for my daughter
As I mentioned I'm a big believer in pacis. I have given fancy pacifier clips as gifts before and the engraved pacifier clip is beautiful and also very practical.
Let's see...I love the giveaway (again), I stalk your blog regularly :), and there was no calming my little girl once she got worked up!
The stomach carry works well for soothing upset babies.
I found you via prizey.net a while ago.
I like the crib bedding sets for newborns.

My favorite trick is to sing lullabies. They work a lot of the time.
I found your space from momgiveaways.com
Hey, that's me! I was just about to come on here after I found you on Mom Giveaways and enter to win the teether for my son. He just got 2 teeth last week...and started eating solids last week! It's been a week!!! :) I calm my little guy by distracting him with something he wants but doesn't get usually--like paper. It worked at his 6 month shots. BARELY cried because he was more interested in the paper!!
Hi- I found you on Prizey and my favorite way to soothe a bay is to run the vacuum cleaner (kills 2 birds with one stone!). From the newborn collection, I also like the animal bath puppets and the aplle clutch ball-thanks!

I have a little one on the way, currently I'm just reading up on my favorite soothing techniques. I got some good ideas from other posts! I found this site through prizey.net! All the toys are adorable, but my favorite thing is the engraved pacifier clip.
Thanks for the great giveaway!

We just rub their belly in a small circle. That's all!
Our big tip, is swaddling! Our infant loved to be swaddled and we lived for happiest baby on the block!
found you on prizey
I love all the warm biscuit bedding co products. I would pick the Knitted Baby & Toddler Dress for my daughter.
i found you on Prizy. and my fave trick is to shush in the babies ear and swaddle
If my baby needs soothing, I put her in our baby sling. Works every time.
Rocking seems to do the trick when baby needs soothing. I found your site through Mom Giveaways. I visited Warm Biscuit Bedding Co., I really like the Organic Teething Ring. Thanks for the chanced to win!
1. My 3-month-old is all about the swaddle. My older daughter never needed it, but when this one gets tired and starts to fuss I just wrap her up and hold her close in my arms and she calms down. The pacifier and some shushing help, too!
2. I found this site through Prizey.
3. The Organic Teething Ring also looks cute, the colorful wooden parts are both practical and fun.

Thanks for the link. They have a lot of cute things. I like the organic teething ring as well.
Baby Dixie could certainly use a teething ring. She sure does like to gnaw on my hand (teething already?)
I have found that a great way to soothe a baby is with Mozart music. It has worked with most of my babies so far. :) Of course baby Dixie also likes her bath, nursing, or being carried in the front carrier as well.
Found your site on prizey!

1. She doesn't fuss much, but I rub and gently pat her belly and side and say "It's okay!" in a sing-song voice.
2. Found your website through prizey.net
3. Warm Biscuit Bedding Co carries books, games, clothing, etc to name a few.
4. dearandrea at sbcglobal. net
Warm Biscuit carries baby blankets, clothes, stuffed animals, bath puppets, etc. as newborn gifts. Thanks!

For me what works is shushing really loud and bouncing on my leg, or it that doesn't work the baby swing works wonders.
The best way I can soothe my youngest is to put her in the ring sling and/or nurse her. This has done the trick from the day she was born. She has been a high needs baby from the start and this was the only way I could get anything done- that's right, ANYTHING. IE eating, going to the bathroom, cleaning, sometimes even sleeping. Thank goodness for that sling!!! I found your site on Contest Girl and I love the baby fabric from Warm Biscuit. Especially the owl print!!
