New York Governor Patterson is calling this a miracle on the Hudson, and I could not agree more. In case you have not seen a paper recently, a U.S. Airways plane landed in the Hudson river yesterday afternoon around 3:30 pm.
The miracle part? Everyone survived, and nobody suffered more than minor injuries and hypothermia. If the pilot had landed the plane at too steep an angle, the plane could have gone straight to the bottom of the river.
