Bright and Light Christmas

Share |

This weekend I was doing some Christmas shopping as well as admiring the window displays of various stores. I was shocked by one of the store windows that I passed by. Not just one, but all of this store's windows were lined with a pitch black background. The only sources of color were a dark red here, and a dark green there, but overall it was a picture of doom and gloom.

Am I crazy, or are drab and depressing colors the last thing we need this holiday season? The next store I walked by could not have been more different. Their window were filled with bright colors, and sparkling silvers and gold gave the whole store a light and cheerful feel. Maybe I'm being too easily duped by decorations, but I genuinely happier to be around all this color. Bright yellows, reds, and greens might not solve all problems, but they sure do help!

I want this to be a bright and light Christmas for everyone. For this reason, all the prints in the Christmas fabrics collection over at the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. are on sale. Tune in tomorrow for some fun arts and crafts ideas for how to take fabric and turn your home into a winter wonderland with a custom fabric project.
