Monday Give-Aways

*This Give-Away is now closed. Come back each week for great new Give-Aways!*

Before getting to this week's give-away, I would like to congratulate Tuesday Girl for winning the Dragonfly backpack from last week's give-away. I hope you enjoy it!

This week's give-away is super special. Artist Shannon Sunderland is going to be giving away one of her gorgeous charm necklaces!

Custom jewelry designer Shannon Sunderland hand-crafts each piece of jewelry she makes with vintage stamps she found in an antique store in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado. She uses these stamps to make exquisite jewelry the old-fashioned way. She says of her vintage stamps, "I adore them because they are old and seem to have their own history. The saw-dusty letters, the beat up wooden box with the peeling manufacturer's label from an era gone by....I wish I could somehow know their secrets."

The give-away:

She is offering to give away a necklace with one engraved charm with one birthstone. Of course you can add additional charms for $30 if you'd like, but the give-away necklace comes with one charm with birthstone.

Here's how to enter the give-away to win this great custom necklace:

1. Leave a comment on this blog telling me what your ideal Christmas present is. It could be something that you got when you were a child, or something that you saw in a catalog years ago, but can't remember where.
2. Visit the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. and see if it has your ideal gift. Even if they don't have it right now... new items are added almost every week, so your dream present might appear just in time for Christmas.
3. Make sure I can contact you! Either leave an email address in your comment, or make sure that you have contact information on your blog profile.

You can receive an extra point to improve your chance of winning this giveaway if you link to this give-away in your blog and put that link in your comment.

The give-away ends Friday, August 15th at midnight. Winners will be chosen at random, and emailed Monday morning. Good luck!

Note: At this time, the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. cannot ship give-away items internationally. They apologize for the inconvenience to all of you great people living outside of the U.S.

As a child, my Christmas present I wanted so badly was the Easy Bake Oven, make my own cakes, yum! Now, I would love to get the Tote and Go Kitchen on your store site! Sure you can't make your own cake, but you can certainly offer more to cook! Thanks for the giveaway!

The most memorable Christmas gift I had as a kid was the year my parents and grandparents splurged and got me the Annie Dollhouse (from the Annie movie of the 80s). I loved that so much and played with it all the time. I remember falling asleep next to it on Christmas afternoon...I didn't want to be parted from it!

At Warm Biscuit, I love the Pirate Ship, probably because it reminds me of my dollhouse but is for a boy (I am thinking of it for my son).

My ideal gift would be that all my brothers and sisters could get together with my parents. I have an almost 2 year old nephew I have never met and my two brothers have never met my 7 month old son.

I think my most memorable X-mas gift was when I got the barbie townhouse, it was just so majestically awesome! Now I realize it was just plyboard stacked on collumns but it was so awesome then.

Tote N' Go kitchen would be awesome for my little one because she loves to "help" cook.

I always wanted my own record player when I was little. Now I guess kids would like MP3 players better but there's something nice about a close-n-play. I don't think Warm Biscuit carries them, but the teepees would be a fantastic place to hole up with one!

I added your giveaway to my weekly listing:

Happy Monday! This is a fantastic giveaway drawing contest. I will never forget when I received the only Christmas gift I wanted when I was 8 years old! The only time my parents used credit was at Christmas time for my brother, sister and me. They would buy our gifts from there are charge them. They, pay them back as quickly as possible! I can still see my doll waiting for me under our Christmas tree. Warm Biscuit has a "Silver Hammered Circle Necklace" that would make me a happy camper at Christmas. I love a hammered, vintage look. Please enter me in your delightful giveaway drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

My favorite Christmas gift was a pretend kitchen set I got when I was 3. It had a stove, refrigerator, counter and sink. All my aunts & uncles & cousins were spending the holiday at our house that year, so I opened up a "restaurant" and made them all breakfast!

My ideal gift from the Warm Biscuit Bedding Co. is the personalized Moms Necklace.

I received a very pretty quilt as a child from my Grandma. She bought the same one for my cousin and I. I always loved that quilt.

The Warm Biscuit Bedding Company is one of my all time favorite stores. I could browse the categories for hours. Actually, I have done so on several occasions. I would love to get so many things from Warm Biscuit for my sons for christmas: all of the pirate stuff, including the outfit, playhouse, pirate ship, and treasure chest, as well as the sword and shield set, which isn't stricty pirate but is very cool.

My ideal Christmas gift ( as an adult) would probably be something of an "experience", like a trip somewhere or a special evening out.

My best Christmas present was a set of Sea Wee dolls. I played with them for years and years, and then my daughter played with them and then my nieces. They have survived for over 25 years and are ready for other little girls to enjoy.

Thanks so much for offering the giveaway, the jewelry is awesome!

Last Christmas I was trying to teach our daughter about giving to other's who may not have the resources to get a special gift. On Christmas morning - my husband brought her downstairs to the tree to see the gifts. She had really wanted a tricycle....and upon seeing it under the tree - she asked Daddy "Can I have one just like this? Maybe the other children can share with me." I may not win the giveaway - but her statement will forever be engraved in my heart.

My mom was the queen of finding the perfect Christmas present (that you didn't even know you wanted)...amazing. One year Santa brought me (a little girl no more than 7) an old wooden gunning box filled to the brim with the best books and goodies. I remember Charlotte's Web was one of the books. I can see one of your crates filled to the max on Christmas morning. I'd love to win the necklace, but it was fun remembering this warm memory, too.

I have always wanted a cocker spaniel puppy with a red ribbon around it's neck, wrapped up in a box under the tree on Christmas morning. I think this has something to do with that picturesque scene at the end of "Lady and the Tramp". I don't really think the Warm Biscuit Co. has puppies though. ;o)

My ideal Christmas present is a book. Despite being a voracious reader all my life, no one ever bought me a book as a present (not even for birthdays). My mother finally started giving me gift cards for bookstores, but I still don't get actual books.

This giveaway isn't a book, but the necklace is beautiful!

For me, the best Christmas gift is spending time with my family and celebrating the true meaning of the season, the birth of Christ. Now that I'm a mom, any material gift that reminds me of my girls will definitely hold a special place in my heart.

As a child my favorite Christmas Present was a blond, blue eyed cabbage patch doll named Tilda. My aunt stood in line for hours to get me this doll and I LOVED it. It was great because my great grandmother's name was Matilda and it was like she was meant to be in our family.

The necklace is very beautiful. Great giveaway!

My favorite gift as a child was (and I don't remember if it was a christmas present)a doll that had a giant head. My Mom thought it was scary and hid it from me in a closet. I don't think I would like one of those now...maybe just this fabulous necklace you are giving away :)
Thanks for the chance!

My most memorable Christmas gift was from my husband. He knows I love the simple beauty of Nambe and he bought me some of their Christmas ornaments when we were first married. We didn't have very many ornaments at the time, so that was really special, too.

My favorite Christmas gift ever was the engagement ring from my husband many years ago. When I was a little girl, I received a $5 Walkman from my uncle. It was cheap but to a 6 year-old, it was priceless

My favorite Christmas gift of all time was 16 years ago when my husband bought me a horse. I grew up with horses and was itching to get back into it and he totally surprised me with Buddy! Buddy is now 26 years old and kind of the old man around the barn. He doesn't have the spunk he once had but he's a good old boy and we love him! I don't have the spunk I once had either!!!

When I was a little girl I couldnt wait for the sears catalog. I would circle all the wants I could wish for. One christmas I had circled a "grown up" gold heart ring along with the Barbie dream house. Christmas morning I wolk up to find my dream house, inside was a little box with the ring. I learned that dreams can come true. Thanks Daddy and Mama!!!!

Well for Christmas I've always wanted this one necklace that was engraved with a saying that read, " My heart is in yours" and it has two hearts one bigger than the other.

When I was little I got in trouble. And my father took one of my Christmas gifts (the one from my favorite Aunt Joanne), and gave it to charity.

It was a kangaroo mom, dressed in a yellow apron, and a baby kangaroo peeking it's head out.

I'd love to get one!

would you believe a guitar? and I got it one Christmas when I was 9, it wasn't wrapped - just placed on a low bookcase, but I didn't see it...so my family tried all kinds of ways to bring it to my attention and finally my brother landed a paper airplane on it!!!!! I think they could have heard my squeal three states over!!!
